Junior FM Developer:: Sydney Australia

Seeking a junior filemaker developer to assist in various projects on a contractual basis; possibly leading to full time employment.

Position Description:

The developer will work closely with the other members of a development team to aid in the creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various FileMaker Pro database solutions employed by our clients. S/he will also provide direct technical support to end users of runtime and networked solutions

Duties Include:

• Database layout design under supervision of senior engineer(s)

• Database scripting and relational design as appropriate to level of ability and experience, under supervision of senior engineer(s)

• Assist with a process analysis of existing database by gathering and analyzing feedback from clients and end users

• Troubleshoot database problems based on client b ug reports

Position Qualifications:

• Proficient in english

• High level of computer proficiency and good comfort level with technology overall

• Direct experience with FileMaker Pro/comparable database, or else proficiency in Excel and layout design is required

• Familiarity with both Macintosh and Windows preferred but not essential

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Patience and excellent communication skills, particularly with non-computer proficient individuals

• Ability to process model and document applications from a user/usage perspective

• Familiarity with PHP a definite bonus!

• Mandatory that you reside in NSW Australia
