Hi All

I have just converted over my files from FM PRO 6 to advance 8.5 and did my first runtime. After compling the files, the files show up as a FM 6 runtime. Is this right?

Thanks

Lionel

No it isn't. Is the creation date on the .fp7 or whatever extension you're using right??? Could you be looking at a previous runtime?

No, I am not looking at an old runtime. The opening FM icon is Blue and the brown tan folder they use for the FM 6.

When I build the runtime, all the extension that are added are FP7 extension but when you open the folder and placed the pointer over one of the files, the description says that the file is a FM PRO 6 runtime.

Any idea what going on. The runtime does work and open with the blue icon is double clicked.

Thanks

Lionel

The .USR extension (or maybe another one if you changed it) is still registered for the runtime v6.

Windows: right-click on the icon and choose 'Open with..'

Adjust settings

Mac: ctrl-click on the icon and choose 'Get Info'

Under 'Open with' set the other app.

Success!
