I have written a task management application for my cabinetshop.

I would like to be able to communicate with the shop from my home or from a jobsite. This sounds like something that should be able to happen with a web based platform.

Do I need to involve a Filemaker Server software to make this happen?

Are there any special requirements for hosting this file?

Can I exchange PDF documents (stored as references in container fields) via web based files?

Can anybody recommend a good host for such a file?
