Hello:

I'm looking for the best way to get a set of records. I have a table A with a many to one relationship to table B. After I search on Table A I have 2 records. I want to loop thru the Table A records and get all the related records from Table B so I can process them. What would be the best way to do this? I'm thinking I will need to use a "find extend"? I'm just confused as to the usual standard type commands to make this work?

With FileMaker 8 you are in luck. You can use GTRR (Go to related records) and in the GTRR options choose Show only related/Match all records in current found set.

Thank you. I'm still getting used to the new commands and coming from 4D world -- I really need to get my mind in a Filemaker mode. Thanks. I forgot about the GTRR command.
