Relationship based on a calc field?

Featured Replies

Can a relationship be based on a calculated field? I'm trying to use a relationship like a find and use it in a calculated field to give me a total. Specifically I'm trying to get a total amount of a product from a list of orders after a date, the date is a calc field.

So far the relationship is not working, but I just want to be sure if it is even possible.

you cannot use unstored calc fields in the many side of a relationship.

Thanks, I didn't think it would work. But I'll come up with an alternate solution.

It is likely the date field. The date you're targetting needs to be stored. It should not have Get (CurrentDate) in it, or in anything it depends on.
