Hi-

I'm working on migrating web sites to an updated server and one of the sites we have runs the FileMaker 6 web publishing engine on Windows Server 2000. We want to move the website to a Windows 2003 server, but supposedly there will be an incompatibility issue with that.

I haven't been able to find any information on the subject - does anybody know if it is possible to run the Filemaker 6 engine on Windows Server 2003 without upgrading? There are other options but it would be ideal to be able to move the site to a 2003 server.

Thanks!!

All is possible and should work fine.

We have FM 6 unlimited on the 2003 server box, but you are advised to start looking at migrating to version 8 soon.

Are you using IWP, CDML, or PHP?

We converted to PHP so that would had options to migrate easier to version 8. We are still running version 6 quite nicely for now, but are actively working on the upgrades to 8.
