Hi,

After the creation of my database, I have figured out that I need an additional field in one of the tables which I did. but the problem is that the new field does not show up in the layout of that table and new records are not created for that field. Any suggestions?

You should be able to use the icon on the left and drag a new field onto the layout in layout mode.

Are you sure that they are not way down at the bottom of your Layout?

BTW, you have to be on the layout of a Table Occurence of that specific table when you are creating the new fields (the layout when you go into define field); otherwise it will not place it automatically on the layout.

Thanks for your answers. I deleted the old layout and created a new one based on the updated table and it seems to work fine.
