MightyData, LLC has an immediate opening for a senior level FileMaker developer in our Dallas office. We offer a competitive salary with vacation plan and benefits. We are one of thirty FBA Platinum Members, a FileMaker Authorized Trainer and have a team of four FileMaker 8 Certified developers.

The qualifications for this position include:

- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience

- 3-5 years experience developing FileMaker databases

- Strong knowledge of relational databases

- Strong experience developing with FileMaker 7 or higher

- Experience with FileMaker Server 7 or higher

- Experience with FileMaker plug-ins

- Experience with Macintosh and Windows operating systems

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Creativity to solve business and technical challenges

- Located in Dallas area or willing to relocate

- Home office with high-speed Internet access

These qualifications would be a plus:

- FileMaker 7 or 8 certification

- Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, SQL Server)

- Experience with web development (PHP, CSS, JavaScript)

- Experience with OS level scripting languages (AppleScript, VBscript)

- Experience integrating FileMaker with other technologies

- Experience teaching software in a classroom environment

The responsibilities for this position include:

- Design and develop new database solutions with FileMaker 7-9

- Modify existing database solutions in FileMaker 6-9

- Develop web solutions to integrate with FileMaker databases

- Meet with customers to determine business and technical requirements

- Create project estimates from business and technical requirements

- Be responsible for meeting project budgets and timelines

- Troubleshoot technical issues and determine feasible alternatives

- Help customers to implement best practices with FileMaker
