Newbies slobhan Posted August 20, 2007 Newbies Posted August 20, 2007 I have a subscription database with Active, Expired, Renewed and Canceled subscriptions. I would like to know, within any found set (whether it's a subset of found records or the whole DB), how many active subs there are, how many canceled subs, how many expired subs and how many renewed subs I'm looking at. I tried doing a subsummary, but since I'm summarizing text not numbers, I don't know how to make this work?
mr_vodka Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 You can get create a subsummary report grouped by the Status field.
Newbies slobhan Posted August 20, 2007 Author Newbies Posted August 20, 2007 thanks, I tried that, but perhaps I'm not understanding....don't I have to have a count field in the subsummary, or can I just include the Status field in the subsummary and it will automatically tabulate for me. Do I have to be in a certain view for a subsummary field to work? I'm working with a customized form view.
