Parts across pages

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have a report using two subsummary parts for name and job. The report should summarize each name and the job should summarize totals for the jobs associated with that name. The problem I have is the parts breaking across page boundaries. The button is unclicked (allow part to break across page boundaries) so the name doesn't and the jobs don't, but I do get a name at the bottom of a page and the associated jobs at the top of the next. Is there a way to keep both subsummary parts together on the same page? I cannot pick an arbitray number of occurences because the number of jobs varies too much. I hope I have explained this properly. Thanks in advance

Mike

There is no "repeat summary part" if the items spill to a second page. However, these techniques may be useful, see this thread.

Actually, this one might be better suited:
