okay, i have sworn by claris homepage, but this is ridiculous. all i want is an [FMP-currenttoken: 2] tag. and it HAD been working, but now CHP converts to [FMP-currenttoken: HTML]. I've tried [FMP-currenttoken: 2, HTML], almost everything. I figured out something f*ed up was happening, because the tokens weren't being set and passed from previous page, so i displayed the tags to see what was up, and indeed, no 2nd token. arg. any help?

[FMP-InlineAction: -db=recruit, -lay=web, -token={currenttoken}, user={currenttoken:2},

-find][FMP-IF: CurrentFoundCount.gte.1]

That Username has already been taken. Please <A HREF="FMPro?-db=recruit&-lay=web&-format=new.htm&-view">click

here</A> and select a new username.[FMP-ELSE]

I do not use an html editor. I do know that FMPro (FMI) no longer supports CHP. Perhaps there is a reason they no longer support CHP.

I realize this does not directly answer you problem. But you may want to consider options other than CHP.

i agree that homepage is like using simpletext to write a thesis...but... they do have the super reference library where it's so much easier to plug in CDML.

i have touched dreamweaver a little and have access to it. is there a product that has CDML tools?

Someone posted here news about FM tags palette for GL integration.

I am using GoLive (Adobe) with FM without problems. GL treat the FM tags as text.

ooh. thanks for the idea. will try it out.

as a side note for those who appreciate these kinds of challenges, have spent the past week putting together electronic transcript web pages. Imagine 90+ fields per page, the names of which include:

a110fs

e211ss

a212h

Oh yes... error 102 is my best friend.
