Font issues - how to keep font from changing

I have a problem with a field maintaining the font size. I have a layout (sales) where I input address information, and the fields are all font size 12.

On another layout (label), I have fields that are size 10, as I am printing labels.

I can't make the label layout keep the font size 10 - most of the time the font size stays at 12. This usually is due to me pasting information into the fields that are font size 12.

Is there a way to tell the field to maintain the font size that I want the layout to have?

The font issue also happens when I paste information into a field. If I paste Helvetica size 12 into a Verdana size 12, it keeps the Helvetica font, when I want it to be Verdana.

Thanks

I had the same issue, there are only two ways that you can past from the clipboard. That is with the Formatting being retained (Cmd V), or with formatting being striped, (Cmd Opt V).

If you are correcting a previous paste in the field (i.e you selected the contents and deleted), then you need to exit the field and then reenter the field before pasting again.

Hope this proves to be helpful.

I hesitated responding to your question earlier, as you show a Skill Level of Advance, and figured I must not be understanding your question. However, ssaucedo seems to have read it the same way, and their response will solve the problem. I would add to their post by saying you can take the worry out of it by using Auto Enter, by Calculation, and the Text Formatting Function, [color:blue]TextFormatRemove. Don't forget to [color:red]deselect the [color:blue]Option of Do not replace existing values (if any)..

Here is a screen shot of what I suggested then.

Select the field in Define Fields, Click the Tab Auto Enter (if isn't already open), Click on the Calculation, select the Function, click okay, and then deselect the Option.
