Ambrit Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I have a DB that i have selected a font size of 10 for the fields When i add a new field, i choose the same font, the same size, but it appears so much smaller? I need to change it to size 18 to get it to look like my other previously made fields. Obviously this affects my layout and the field size.. Any help? THanks!
Tpaairman Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 First I would say make sure you have clicked on the field so you have selected it, then make the changes. However I have run into this where the other fields might be set to a certain font and size, but they have been sligtly scaled bigger or smaller. Another approach is to click on one of your existing fields and duplicte it. Then double click on the new field and the set up box with pop up - just select the correct field name and you are good to go.

Ambrit Posted December 7, 2007 Author Posted December 7, 2007 Thank you. But the issue is not how to modify the text font etc. the issue is that when i do this, it does not look like it should.. my field is set to size 10 - along with all my others. But when i add a new field and choose size 10 - it looks extremely small and i have to enlarge it to size 18 to get it to look the same size.
Lee Smith Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Sounds like it's a font smoothing issue then. Open your System Preferences, and click on Appearance, and see what the bottom most item is set to. I have mine set to 8. Lee
