I have a custom dialog with a global input field. I cannot get the input field to update. I've tried committing the record, tried creating many different test global fields in different tables but to no avail.

I even created a global field in a related table and still nothing. From what I've learned so far, if it's a global it shouldn't have to be related.

Any Ideas?

Not enough to go on, but I am guessing you're not clicking the rightmost button.

Michael certainly doesn't need someone to clarify for him but it might be easier to consider this:

The ONLY button which allows a field to be set is the default button (in Custom Dialog, it's always the LEFTmost button) but when the dialog appears, it's the rightmost button.
