Spelling underlines in text fields

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a rather large note field in a layout and in that are various 'words' that aren't recognised by the spell checker. Whenever these words are displayed they are underlined in red making them very difficult to read (some of them are case sensitive passwords). Is there any way in which the spell checker can be turned off for particular fields?

many thanks

Graham Keeley

Then turn it off:

Thanks so much for your reply, I would if I could!!

I am using 8.5 and I can't find the required option in the Field Behaviour box.

Try to look in the documents pref's then, I can't remember where I used to hide - can anyone else??

Well when I then thought about it..... what I lead you to was a replica of the tools Help, try to open it and type in "spelling"

It's in File > File Options... under the Spelling tab. And there is a script step, Spelling Options, that provides quick access to it.

Hi everyone... I'm trying to set the spell-checking automatically ON on the startup of my solution but I can't figure out the way!

Does anybody know how to set it up to automatically "indicate questionable words with special underline" not having to turn it ON every time I open the solution?

Thanks for your help!
