Kris M Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I notced that when you create an edit box the default fill color is "unselected". This creates a transparent fill condition yet their is no easy way to change a controls fill value from having a fill back to this transparent fill condition. The format paintbrush does work however... That's my observation.. my question is .. is their a way to set a "transparent" text color? This would be very useful in portal where alternating lines are filled differently. TAI Kris
Lee Smith Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Are you wanting to preselect the fills, line weight, etc of the tools in Layout. If so, just make your selections before you use the tools. If not, maybe you can explain what you are wanting to do. Lee
comment Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 See the section "To make an object transparent" in Help > Editing objects on layouts > Selecting and working with objects on a layout > Setting color, pattern, line width, and object effects.
Kris M Posted February 4, 2008 Author Posted February 4, 2008 Got it.. I assumed that the double box thing was a pallette color swap. Thanks all! K
