Backtassaar
I'm sorry if this is stupid question - and it probably is, so dont laugh too much - but is there a way to write my own plugin to Filemaker? Or plugin writes only companies which has some kind of deal with Filemaker Inc. which has sources to Filemaker...? More and more i would need some specific functions which filemaker just dont have. Thanks a lot. Matěj Kmínek
mr_vodka
I would start with Chapter 5 of the Advanced Developer Guide. http://www.filemaker.com/downloads/pdf/fmpa9_development.pdf
Adam Dempsey
Apparently you have FileMaker 9 Advanced, in which case on the install CD in the english extras folder you will find the filemaker plugin sdk. You may find the plugin template by S4U useful to start with --> http://www.24usoftware.com/FMTemplate
Jesse Barnum
What programming languages are you most familiar with? If C++, then use the low-level FileMaker API that Dempsey pointed out. If you are more comfortable with PHP, then use one of the PHP plugins like SmartPill, Schubec PHP, or MonkeyBread Software. If you are a Java programmer, then use the ScriptMaster plugin from 360Works.
