Saubs Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I have a field called GraphicAlerts with 5 repetitions. This field does not contain any 'usable' data, its sole purpose is simply to display graphic 'red flags' to the user when certain criteria are met. Q: Using a calc formula (not a script), is it possible to specify which repetition to put the graphic into? For example: If( IsEmpty(Date); get the arrow graphic from gGraphicsContainer and put it into repetition 4 of the GraphicAlerts repeating field ; "" ) Hope that makes sense. Suggestions greatly appreciated.
Raybaudi Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 Yes, it is possible. Case( IsEmpty( Extend ( Date ) ) and Get ( CalculationRepeatitionNumber ) = 4; gGraphicsContainer [ 3 ] ) where the repeating global field gGraphicsContainer [ 3 ] contains the arrow.
Saubs Posted February 17, 2008 Author Posted February 17, 2008 Thank you for your reply raybaudi, your formula works great. I wasn't aware of the Get(CalculationRepetitionNumer) function. Just learned something new! Cheers
