Jorgitopeter Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Hello fellows! Anyone knows about a free plug-in to log changes? I mean a "audit trail" plug-in to log changes in the tables and then undo those changes? Thanks a lot for your words.
Lee Smith Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 See the Replies to your other topic about Audit Trails. The links provided by Mr. Vodka were good ones. I only remember a plugin required in one of these, and it was a Free one called ZippScript. You do not need a plugin for this, but you do need to understand the example in order to adapt it to your files. HTH Lee
DataMate Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Lee is correct, you do not need a plug in. There are audit trails around that merely work on calculation fields that are quite acceptable. In fact I installed an audit system like this in a large pathology solution a couple of years ago. You would need to script undos and such but it worked great
