FM Chick Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey guys I have a report layout that sorts my records by company and a search layout with global fields for users to enter a date range for the report. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how I could make a pop-up menu with each company and depending on which company the user selects, only that company is shown in the report (I also want it to be possible for the user to shift click multiple companies). Also I want each company in the report to start on a new page and to have the company's name and date range in the header so it would read something like: Sasazat Contracting [1/10/07 to 30/10/07] for example. Thanks.
mr_vodka Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Well you can use a global field to capture the selected company names. You can use a Go to related record step to find all the records with those selected files. Once you have that found set, a subsummary report grouped by company could be used. As for starting a new page for each company, under the options for each of the layout parts (header, body, subsummary, etc) check out the page break options.
