Newbies jacob3223 Posted April 7, 2008 Newbies Posted April 7, 2008 I have developed a database that we are using for HelpDesk requests. I want to be able to publish it so every computer in the company has the application on it. From what I have heard is that we need to have FileMaker installed on every computer for this to happen. Is this true? Is there a way that we can do this without having to purchase FileMaker for every computer. We have upwards of 500 computers and that can get very expensive. Please let me know what I can do.
mr_vodka Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 You will have to use either Custom Web Publishing or Instant Web Publishing. Even if you use some application such as Citrix, you will have to pay for end user client licensing.
