nopposan Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 (edited) Hello there. I was wondering how I can create a floating control box that will allow a user to navigate and execute scripts on the layout beneath the float. So far I've got a button called "Show Controls" that performs the following script: Adjust Window [Resize to Fit] New Window [Name: "Controls"; Height: 396; Width: 408; Top: 150; Left: 300] Set Zoom Level [150%] Show/Hide Status Area [Hide] Got to Layout ["ControlBox" (Patient_Information)] The control box looks real snazzy! The trouble is that the scripts associated with the buttons I've put in the control box don't operate on the layout below. Thanks for any help you can offer. Edited May 9, 2008 by Guest typo
nopposan Posted May 9, 2008 Author Posted May 9, 2008 Haha! Excellent. So I just attach the windows navigation to each script that I use. It's a little funny to go from window to window just to well, navigate; but it works! Who was that masked swine?
Lee Smith Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 You might want to take a look at http://www.nightwing.com.au/FileMaker/demos.html and do a search for Navigation. HTH Lee
