Hello folx

I am currently migrating an old database FMP 6 to FM 9.

Now, I have companies and persons. A company might have n (0-many) persons, a person might be connected with m companies (0-many).

In FMP 6 I used to make a join file. I am confident, that FM 9 has a better solution than this. How would you solve that issue?

Best regards and thank you for your input.

A join table is still the answer. It's not a matter of version, or even Filemaker - it is the correct approach in any relational database:

join table? Upgrading to a version where you can take advantage of tables does not change fundamental relational theory.

Edit - Did not see comment's post when I posted this.
