I have a field called task_name.

On data change in task_name field I want FileMaker to call a script call Find_tasks.

Can FileMaker Pro do such a task?

If yes, what is the function called or please provide en example.

The different is that unlike the built-in function you have to pay for Plug-in and down the road concern about compatibilities issues such as keeping the Plug-in version synchronized with the FileMaker Pro version. :
