sal88 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Hi, I'm extremely lost so any help is muchly appreciated. I was getting along fine producing reports by printing the layouts in filemaker as pdf. But now my reports are getting more complex, with different combinations and headings etc, I figured, why not produce a caculated field, that when exported, will produce an html version of the report. The only problem with this is headers and footers (as well as footer on the last page - for totals, and making sure group headers aren't on their own at the bottom of each page). So I heard that XSLT is the way to go, now my knowledge of this is non-existent, but I'm prepared to learn. But then I'm hearing all this stuff about XSLT with filemaker?? I don't know which way to look, how are they linked? is the filemaker route the one i ought to be taking? Could someone please explain what can be done with the filemaker/xslt combination or how i cam to achieve my aim? thanks
