agaperrk Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I have a checkbox that I took the borders from around the check off. I need to get the check to be darker I have tried different fonts. I made them bold but still not dark enough. Any Clues Thanks in advance
Lee Smith Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 I'm not sure I'm understanding what you are asking, but have you tried selecting the field in Layout Mode, and then Main Menu >> Format >> Field/Control >> Boarders. Lee

Applying font formatting won't affect the checkbox. You could change the borders back to the desired darkness and create a box object that goes over the borders of the checkbox.
grumbachr Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Do what Lee has said but make the borders darker. the border color is also the check box color even if the top,right... are turned off.

I actually do not have any borders selected and I have the Line set to None, So the only thing that prints in a checkbox is the X I do not want any of the borders to print. I just need the X darker. When I try and add border thickness the box will show up. I have it the darkest I can make it with the color. What next.
Lee Smith Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Change the Font for the Field in Layout Mode.
David Jondreau Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Maybe if I rephrase... Change the line quality of the box to to 1 pt, black. Then create a box object that overlays the borders you're trying to hide. Set that box object's line qualities to match the background. The text formatting has nothing to do with the check in the checkbox.
