Mats
Sorry I fill this forum, but I truly try to find the answer in the manual and googling before posting a question. So, I make a number field with the price, named Price. I format the price like this i.e. 2,995.00. So far so good. But when I on another layout use the price in a text like <> this text does not get formated with the decimals and commas. It will be written 2995 only. So my question is if I can solve this? David Jondreau
You can format the merge field, just like a regular field.

Mats
Ahh got it. So I have to select the whole text block and not only the merge field. That's a problem as before that I also have "12 Month" in the text block. And then this would also be formated with 2 decimals. (Swedish): Abonnemang avser: Mediahjälp 12 månader Pris: <> kronor exkl. moms Edited October 29, 2008 by Guest
Raybaudi
If the "12" is writed into the text ( not coming from another number field ), it will not be affected. IOW: Abonnemang avser: Mediahjälp 12 månader Pris: <> kronor exkl. moms with Price = 2995 will be writed: Abonnemang avser: Mediahjälp 12 månader Pris: 2,995.00 kronor exkl. moms
