Databases not appearing in IWP list.

Featured Replies

I'm rather new to IWP, so please bear with me.

When I go to my IWP homepage, http:// : :/fmi/iwp, not all of the databases show up. In fact, it seems like filemaker has chosen at random which database to show. In the Admin Console settings, IWP is turned on, and some databases do appear, but only 15 of the possible 37 come up. Is there a limit to the number that FM can host, and if there is, how do I specify which ones should be hosted and which shouldn't? I can clearly see those databases marked with a check in the IWP column in the database list, but I don't know how to specifically turn IWP on or off for a particular database.

All databases are kept in the same folder.

The files are held on a server machine running FMP9 Adv. Server, which does not have Filemaker itself installed on it.

The IWP function is only partly controlled by FMSA.

You must also ENABLE the Instant Web Publishing sharing for each database using FMP as the host, so the files must be opened directly with FMP.

See FileMaker Pro > Sharing > Instant Web Publishing.

Each file can then be selected for IWP sharing and displaying in the IWP homepage.

Once you have the correct settings reload the files to your server.

Thanks for the response. I opened all the required files locally and turned on IWP for them, and now they all appear as expected. Thanks for the help!
