George Posted March 21, 2001 Posted March 21, 2001 I have read here, and you can do a search for the thread, that you can export or open the Access table with Excel and then FM can import the spreadsheet with fieldnames.
Newbies BBrookwell Posted March 21, 2001 Newbies Posted March 21, 2001 The tables aren't the problem. The piece I'd like to avoid is all the interface creation (forms & reports & such)

You can probably save some of the various graphical elements, but I woul simply suggest starting from scratch. The data is the real investment anyway. ------------------ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Kurt Knippel Consultant Database Resources mailto:[email protected] http://www.database-resources.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Newbies BBrookwell Posted March 22, 2001 Newbies Posted March 22, 2001 I have an ACCESS database created by my students in a systems analysis course which needs to be converted to FileMaker so that the user can actually use the beast. Is there an automated method for doing this or am I stuck with a summer rewrite.
