March 16, 200916 yr First be sure completely to stop FileMaker Server services/daemons after having first closed all the files. Just to be safe, remove the folders with the files and backups from the FMS root directory. Same for any plug-ins or OS level scripts. Use Add or Remove programs or the utility on the FMS CD to remove the older version of FMS. Reboot. Install from the CD and deploy. Then reboot. Relaunch, being sure that the service/daemon is atarted. You should be ready to go. Be sure that you have not updated Java to the later versions as this will cause the Admin Console to malfunction.
