How to make a portal greyed out and non-clickable

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I am looking for a way to make a portal completely „non-clickable“.

On my layout there are two tabs: The Edit tab contains the normal portal where related records can be accessed the usual way. On the View tab I’d like to show in certain cases just a greyed out image of the portal. I know that I can set the field behaviour of my portal fields so that the user cannot enter them in Browse mode. But the scroll bar would still be accessible.

Thank you,

Mike

Turn off the scroll bar? Wonder where you're going with this..

Hey, Thank you!!

Where I'm going - well...:

On the View tab the users can click on the portal's records. Clicking on these records opens a PDF or a website.

On the Edit tab you can change everything but the portal - the portal there acts merely as a "dummy" in the same place, as I have a third tab where the user can edit what's inside the portal. Might sound complicated, but I offer several scripts to edit the portal's content, and the actual portal doesn't have enough space for all the buttons. From an aestehetic point of view it looks quite good :

Thanks again!

Mike
