MPC is looking for a Filemaker Developer on a 6 month fixed term contract to support all of MPC's users across a broad range of Filemaker applications. As Filemaker Developer you would work within the Film Department to ensure the smooth running of these applications and maintain their continued integration within the production pipeline.

Experience and Skills

Good working knowledge and experience of Filemaker 9 Advanced primarily on Windows with particular reference to:

custom functions

scripting

fundamentals of web publishing

relationships

variables

integration with other formats, e.g. XML, Excel and XSLT

Responsibility for maintaining our Windows based Filemaker Servers

Basic understanding and experience of Active Directory

Maintain backup and recovery routines

Other-

Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet is essential.

Good communication and team working skills.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to use initiative and prioritise work loads

Details

Salary: 35,000-42,000 per annum

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Full time/6 months
