omit records if checkbox field is checked

Featured Replies

I have a field which is a check box compiled from a value list of 10 values.

I am trying to write a find script that delivers only records that have no boxes checked - ie the field is empty

I'm sure i'm being foolish here and the answer is simple

Help much appreciated!

You need the OMIT record script step. IN find mode it will perform an OMIT REQUEST - as though the omit check box was selected.

As you have FMP9A then you can switch on the script debugger and see it happen.

Enter Find Mode []

Set Field [ YourCheckboxField; "=" ]

Perform Find []
