May 22, 200916 yr We have an editor layout that allows changes to be made based on permissions. It all works wonderfully on my computer. I can log in the various permission sets and they all function correctly. Now for the twister. When on another user's computer, logged in as their permission set (which just worked on mine), it does not allow for editing. The error message is: "costs_field" is defined to contain only specific values. You must enter a valid value. . . . . attached also. So, where do I start looking?
May 22, 200916 yr Author OK, I got rid of the validation requirements and that seems to have opened it up. I am confused as to why it would succeed on my system, but on one of the user's systems it failed? The only difference I can see is that I have a copy of Advanced and they do not. I will need to check on a few more to be sure it is now working, but it seems like it may be. thanks again and have a great holiday weekend.
