Is there a an upper limit to the number of fields you can have in table view? When I create a new field it doesn't appear in browse mode straight away. I seem to have to drag and drop it in layout mode to a few different locations before it will appear as the extreme right hand field in browse mode. I'm hoping the number of fields I can create in this way is infinite. Any thoughts most welcome.

Number of fields/columns per record: 256 million total fields over life time of file.

Number of layout objects: Maximum of 32,768 objects on each layout.

I think the limit is 8000px width

If you hope you can add an "infinte" number of fields to a layout, I'd have to say something is terribly wrong with your database structure.
