The alignment tools are only available in Layout mode.

I don't know what you're referring to in Detail and List, but I'm assuming you're still talking about Layout mode.

Table view does it's own thing, and ignores all formatting/alignment done in Layout mode.

I know that point what you are mention in first line

I am referring FileMaker Views ( Detail View, List view and Table View -It's available only in browse mode)

We have have a option to include a header and footer in table view.

My requirement is ?

By using the object info i have done some alignments changes in detail layout and list layout screen.

It working well in browse mode.

The same changes is not applicable in table view layout screen.

If you not clear with this reply, I will send a test a file to you..

Thanks for you support

Now I see what you mean. If you use Adjust Window Resize to Fit, in Detail and List, the window will determine the width of the rectangle and use that as its maximum width.

To achieve what I think you want, don't use a rectangle in the header and footer. Instead, select the header part label, and apply a fill to the header (and do the same for the footer). Then, in Layouts>Layout Setup (Views tab), Table View Properties>select Include Header and Footer parts.

I'm sure you understand and it's just a possible misinterpretation of your words, but to clarify, formatting and alignment DOES work on FIELDS in table mode. :wink2:

Thanks for your reply.

It's good idea when we are using a color.

Actually I am using a image with this header and footer, So there is no way to apply a backcolor.

I am using a image, Now what can i do ?

Is any possible to resize the image with table view.

Kindly let me know if possible with any other solution.

Well, I wouldn't want an image to resize. It would distort. And, I'd put the image in a global container field, so that I could easily change the image and have the change affect all layouts that use the global container.

The image would be stored in a field (Pref) and then my open script would set the global container to the pref field. (There are other methods to set a global on startup).
