I wasn't sure where to post this. It's bugged me for a long time. When I copy and paste text from another application into FileMaker, the text comes in with the source font instead of the font I've defined for my field. Is there a way around this?

Use the Opt Key with the Cmd V

You could set the field to have an auto-enter calc that equals TextFormatRemove (myField), with Don't Replace deselected.

Another feature os to paste the ext, then immediately issue the Undo command: it removes the formatting. A second Undo will undo the paste.

This doesn't work in v8.5?

It does in v9 and 10.
