We have set up a database for estimating properties in the field. When the estimator accesses FileMaker remotely through our Server the application is incredibly slow and the screen refreshes with each field input. Any suggestions? HELP!

Remotely? Do you mean "outside the local network", i.e. an Internet connection?

If so then you will likely see bandwidth problems as your own service can only "push" the data at a limited rate.

If you are getting screen refresh issues then possibly you have some calculation or summary fields on the layout that are dependent on the input fields. You won't see this refresh in a fast LAN as the refresh is too fast to see.
