Older phpsa files read in the new version?

I have recently had need to go back into older versions of phpsa files created by PHP Site Assistant. When I go to open the site in the newer version of 10, it acts like it is going to open the file, but never does. I thought maybe my file was corrupt, so I tried other phpsa files and had the same results. I know the files have data in them as 1) they are all different file sizes & 2) I can see the code if I open them in BBEdit. Is there an update or plug-in I'm missing so the newer version of PHP Site Assistant can read older files?
