Hello everyone,

I was asked a question by one of our teachers who is working on a FileMaker database and I do not know enough to answer her question.

Is there a way to change the currency symbol? Apparently she needs to show Pounds.

I am thinking this may be a keyboard issue since all she has is the $ sign.

In layout mode, select Format > Number… > Format as decimal > Currency Symbol.

Examine the options available for a number in Layout Mode. Click on the Number Field, then Right Click the Mouse, or go Main Menu >> Format >> Number

Thank you. I forgot to mention that we use an Academic version of FileMaker, will that make a difference?

No, the only difference is the cost to purchase.
