FM Server 5.5 and OS X working????

Featured Replies

Anyone out there using Fm Server 5.5 and OS X 10.12???

I have had nothing but problems with it.

I have been using OS 9.2 with no problems but OS X is nothing but problems for Fm Server 5.5 for me.

I have tried file sharing off and still I get nothing but correupted files.

Is there any updates out there for FM server 5.5?:

Filemaker.com doesnt have any that I cant find.

I am using MOSX 10.1.2 and FM Server 5 running natively in X with no problems whatsoever.

Your problems may extend beyond FM Server. You might try running a disk repair utility like Disk Warrior or Norton on the server storage and HD.

Things ahve been smooth for me too.. OS X 10.1.2 adn FMP 5.5

The only problem has been the backup scheduler not working, and the earlier posted cron script solved that.

Check your files...

You might want to test with a new DB file for a while to see if the problems persist.

Damaged files seem to cause bigger problems on OS X than they did on OS 9.
