how can i remove tools menu using custom menu in filemaker pro 10 advance?

If you mean the toolbar then I believe it must be scripted with Allow ToolBars [off]. :smile2:

You can't.

Normally solutions will be run by users with the regular FileMaker Pro (not Advanced) program, or as runtimes, and there will be no Tools menu. If someone with Advanced opens your solution, then the Tools menu items won't work as long as you have taken care of security settings.

Please describe in a bit more detail the 'security' settings that I need to invoke to prevent the use of the TOOLS menu option. I have the same need to remove this menu option or at least the use of this menu option.
