Hi - seems simple but not having any success. I need to get the total number of same type fields.

=3 (ie john + fred + peter).

Your question makes no sense.

You're talking about multiple fields; but you describe multiple values - and we don't know whether they come from multiple fields or not.

Perhaps this is what you're looking for:

Another option is to define a value list based on the field and count the values in ValueListItems().
