2 SERVERS, 2 DSL CONNECTIONS, & IWP CHALLENGE

We have a database on our server that keeps track of invoices, products, etc., and we wish to install IWP to give access to our clients the status of their orders.

Please let me know if the following scenario is possible?

1. SERVER A is hosting our main database, has connection to the internet via DSL (DSL 1), and has a firewall. Windows Server 2003

2. SERVER B would be the a second server that will install IWP and have its own DSL connection ( DSL 2). We want all the traffic to IWP to come from this second DSL connection. Windows Server 2008 or 2003.

3. SERVER B will have a separate filmmaker database that will link to certain tables of our main database in SERVER A.

4. All external traffic to IWP on SERVER B will be coming from DSL 2 connection and pull data to from the database in SERVER A.

I would GREATLY appreciate ANY instructions and advice you can give:

A) Do I need a second copy of Filemaker Server? I currently have FM8 Server Advanced on the main server.

B) Any benefits to moving to FM10 Server Advanced in this scenario?

C) How to set up the servers so that SERVER B can access data in SERVER A, while

a. Keeping SERVER A secure from visitors on SERVER B.

b. SERVER A can still access the internet using traffic from DSL 1.
