***ANDY*** Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Hello Together, I have published a personal data form from my fp7 database on the web. What I want to do is that people fill in their data and then submit the form to me; I would put a script behind the submit button so I would receive a notification email and I know when someone has sent their data. What I don't want is poeple to have access to any of the other records in my database. How do I do that and is there even a possibility that the person that logs into the web published database doesn't even see the navigation panel on the left? Thanks for any help, Andy
MetaSys Software Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Hi Andy, Create a script with script step to hide the status area - Show/Hide Status Area. Then set this script as opening script: File >> File Options >> Perform script. Now when you access the database from web (IWP), status area (navigation panel) will not appear.
***ANDY*** Posted December 22, 2009 Author Posted December 22, 2009 (edited) Thanks; I got it - I'm still playing around with the user settings though... Edited December 22, 2009 by Guest
