Hello!

How to design a multi-level menu with FM 10?

There are 3 fields:"company","product type","product series",I want it work like this:if you select/type a company name in the "company" field there will list the product type related to the selected company in the "product type" filed, then select a "product type" there will list the "product series" which related to both selected company and product type in the "product series"filed.

The Filemaker can do it?HOW?

Thank you!

Thank you for your response, but i really need more details.I will appreciate that if someone can upload same samples.

As I stated in my previous post, there are several examples - sample files - on comment's blog

Comment's blog

Hi who am i, Comment is the top poster here on FM Forums and a great Developer. To find the samples, select the above link and scroll down and you will find links to Conditional Value Lists. :smile2:

efen, since this is the person's first thread here on FM Forums, it is not surprising that they have no idea what "comment's blog" even means. How would someone new even go about finding a comment's blog? If I search for 'comment's blog' I get nothing! Your second response could have easily (and more quickly) provided a link.

At the bottom right-hand side of every recent post there is a link to comment's blog ...

Yes, I appreciate that is my omission - apologies

Only if they have their side-bar displayed. And it only shows the 'active blogs' for brief period of time (and only if they think to look to the right and keep searching down through the extended page - it's at the bottom). And his is showing right now because he added some links into it. It will disappear shortly if no additional activity happens there.

I just think that sometimes we forget others are new, or can't speak English fluently or just don't know what we know about how FM Forums works (or how to properly search or know how to find out how to search etc) and they may need a bit more help.

You help many people here and we all are lucky you assist as you do. :smile2:
