Read only message in CD-Rom

Hello,

I'm a proyect to make a database in CD-Rom I want to use FM Dev baut I have a question, when I put my files in the CD is it possible to dissable the message that said that the database is read only???

You need an installer or you need to compress the files, You will not be able to run the datbases from a locked volume.

In Windows, any time you put a file on a CD it becomes read-only. Even when you download these files to a hard drive, they remain read-only, until and unless you open the properties and uncheck that "feature".

On a Mac, you don't have these problems.

Either way, I highly recommend using some sort of installer. (Aladdin Drop-stuff is probably the easiest.)

Could you be more specific about what 'properties' need to be reset?
