danjacoby Posted November 20, 2001 Share Posted November 20, 2001 In Windows, any time you put a file on a CD it becomes read-only. Even when you download these files to a hard drive, they remain read-only, until and unless you open the properties and uncheck that "feature". On a Mac, you don't have these problems. Either way, I highly recommend using some sort of installer. (Aladdin Drop-stuff is probably the easiest.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
