Arny Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 I've used the developer tool in 8.5 to create a runtime file for both Windows and Macintosh. I have two questions 1. The initial runtime file size on Windows is 45M. The Macintosh initial runtime size is 185M. I don't understand the radical size differences. 2. I then 'zip' both files. The Windows zip size is 24M and the Macintosh zip size is 110M. When I unzip the Macintosh solution it will not run. Is there a special trick to compile a Macintosh solution?
Lee Smith Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Did you use a Macintosh to create the Runtime? If not, you have to use the platform that the runtimes are for to create them. One for Windows and One for Macintosh. HTH Lee
