Richard Corso
I have made a runtime app that I have installed on 5 machines 4 XP and 1 Vista. I have tried to install with the same CD on 2 other XP machines. One gets the Erra Code: This installation package could not be opend.Vairify that the package exeist and that you can accessit, or contact the application vendor to verify thatthis is a valid windows installer package. When I tire to install on it. And the other XP machine will let it install, but, when clicking in the icon it will not open and no erra code. Any help would be appreciated. bruceR
Did you use the updater for FileMaker 11? See: "FileMaker Pro 11.0v1 Advanced Runtime Library Update (Windows only)" Here: http://www.filemaker.com/support/downloads/
David McQueen
Sounds like the verson you have is looking for XP Service Pack 3 and you are trying to install on XP Service Pack 2. Check the full runtime FMP versions and check the XP versions and go to FMI Knowledgebase and check minimum system requirements for various versions. http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4701/kw/minimum%20system%20requirements Edited June 20, 2010 by Guest adding link
